Default how do i wire reverse lights after manual converson???

i tried to wire the yellow and green wire from the factory automatic harness into the two green and yellow wires that come out of the manual tranny, but my reverse lights do not work? do i need to do anything with the wires where the automatic shift knob used to be?

i've had it like this for like a yr. and it's starting to bug me when ppl can't tell that i'm backing out of a parking spot!

If you are talking abouit the 94 accord for sale. Then their should be a Back-up light switch on the top of the transmission housing. It will have a Yellow wiring coming into it from the No. 1 fuse (Under-Dash Fuse Box). It will also have a Green/Black wire going out that goes to the reverse lights.

All this is in the 5th gen service manual on page 23-210 and 211.

on a 5th gen you extend the yellow and green/black wires from auto gear selector switch to the 2 wires on the reverse light switch on the tranny.

would probably also work if you extended the backup switch wires and tapped them into terminal g and h
