Default Swapping Engines

Ok, I got a '88 Accord LXi for a beater, and the engine is about gone, it smokes everywhere ya go. I have found a '87 model 2.0 carbed engine with 130k on it for $100. My question is, do the transmissions swap between those two engines (I assume they will, both being 2.0's) , and can I swap the fuel injected intake over onto the carbed engine ?

No the intakes will not swap. The trannys will swap, but the carbed version has a different gear ratio and will not go as fast as the FI tranny. Ive swapped from auto-manual, Ive never heard of anyone doing the opposite swap, but just to gve you an idea, you need the auto tranny, drivers side axle, shift linkage, shift lever, tranny mount, auto pedal assembly, reverse light wiring, auto flywheel. Its a lot of work. I would just buy an auto car.
