On your car though? What do you have? F22X? 145hp max? It's not worth it. Take that $500 and get an IRA fund or something.
i beg to differ. what is wrong with the f22. its a good low CR motor (although nitrous loves high CR) with the low CR it can take quite a beating. the only thing i would worry about is the tranny, and i know from previous posts that hondadriver has an auto tranny, if you dont plan on replacing your tranny in a few years dont mess with the nitrous. for others, if its manual dont worry about it.

ive been running a nx wet 75 shot on my car for almost 3 yrs now and the f22 has handled it like a champ, the only thing that has failed so far was the tranny. the auto tranny took a shit even with a oil tranny cooler and a MSD RPM Activated Window switch. i figured if i put another used auto tranny in it will just take a shit again in a few yrs at my spraying rate so converted it to a manual tranny. i can hang with if not beat many 4th and 5th gen h22 accords even before my manual conversion.

as an automatic i gtech'd at a meager 108hp (yes the auto drivetrain sucks, it robs so much power from the 145 crank hp). right after i finished my manual conversion i hopped on dyno and put down 138whp with i/h/e msd ignition, fpr, etc...(bolt-ons). i didnt get a chance to do any nitrous runs cuz i unhooked alot of the nitrous components when i was doing the manual conversion and didnt have a chance to hook everything back up. but i have had a couple of quarter passes and with 138whp + 75 wet NX shot(whp), full interior, subs, amp, and bald street tires, bad wheel spin i managed consistant high 14's. if i took out my subs, amp, spare, slapped on some drag radials im pretty sure i could have dialed in mid 14s, not too shabby for a heavy single cam accord. if i ever get ballzy again and increase the shot i can probably manage a low 14sec pass.

back in the days on the streets i would get a bit trigger happy and ive sprayed a 100 shot a few times on a (internally) bonestock f22 just using a larger fuel jet, increasing fpr fuel psi, a walbro 190lph fuel pump, and mad ignition retard. motor still runs fine, compression is good across the board.

next mod for me will be a nice cam regrind, something that will open the exhaust valves earlier in the cycle but not too high of a duration. nitrous will make sick gains with a good cam(s). i got a set of forged wiseco pistons, h-beam rods and parts to convert my single fogger to a direct port kit i bought a while ago but its gonna be a while until ill have the block fully built for the direct port system.

if its a JDM H22 youll need some "help"(i.e. $200-300) to just get by the visual inspection. BAR ref will def be hassling if its JDM.
