ok well i'm pretty sure my check engine is on cause of my gas cap, and i just filled up but it didn't turn off, if it was my gas cap would it by now? or does it take a little bit or does the dealer have to reset it or what, thanks all
Rather than unplug the battery, pull fuse #13 (the ecu fuse) on the passenger side fusebox for more than 10 seconds. If it persists, retrieve the code and see what's up.
well i did some research and found out its the 7.5amp fuse? well on mine the 7.5 is the dimmer relay and i dont have a fuse in there but theres a 7.5 in the spare fuse part and i tried putting it in where it says 7.5 is suppose to go but it would lock in, i mean it just went in it didn't get firm in place, you know what i mean? lol
ok and i found out its suppose to be "clock backup"...i have no clock backup lol but i have backup accy i think it said, but thats one of the big 40 ones, is this it? lol i'm boreddddd
I think your owners manual shows you a diagram of what each fuse is. Pull the fuse for 15 seconds and restart the car. That should take care of it. OR you could go to autozone, they read the code for free. Get the number and that will tell you what the problem is.
