Paying Altamere. Tell the guy it's a "show car" and won't see any "city/highway driving" if you want the darker shades....

And how good is Altamere? Do they leave those annoying little bubbles at the top of tinted windows like some do?

Mine for a 98 Coupe was around $120.

It's great quality, except for my back glass, where the Honda "matrix" anti-fog shit is, the tint looks like it's coming off or not properly applied. BUT IT'S PERFECT. It's just a visual effect with the tint that happens with that type of glass, it's only the top 1" of my back glass so it's not too lame. It's a Honda problem, not altamere.

But back to your Q, I have no little bubbles at the top of the two windows I can roll down, and the rest look visually great.

jnust watch for heavy tinting some cops are really annoying with that, check your area spots to see if anyone has had any problems there, if not, you might be able to get away with sub 30%

Whoa. There are legality issues? So I guess I should check to see if it's okay in my state?

well, just search around but in CA, the back windows can be as dark as you want but you CANNOT tint the front and windshield.

the tint place would also know the laws, they would also have samples inside the shop.
