Default acceleration problems

I have a 98 Accord. Today while driving, when it reached 4000 rpms while accelerating, the car would stall until I released the gas and sometimes it would stutter. This has never happend before since I've owned this car. I replaced one O2 sensor a few months ago, and the check engine light came on after replacing that one. I had it looked at again, and it just needs the other O2 sensor replaced. I'm not sure if that's the problem. I spoke with my friend and read a few postings on here, but wondering if anyone knows any ides of what this could be, or if anyone else has had this same problem. The postings I've seen were for 5spd trans. I have an automatic. I'm not too car educated, but didn't know if there would be a difference in situations depending on the type of transmission. I'm going to have it looked at first thing in the morning to get an idea of what it may be. I've been told it could be a fuel system problem, but doubt it would be a transmission problem. Any thoughts or people with the same problem?

i really dont know exactly for sure but i will try.
from what i know if u dont change the o2 sensors soon after the light comes on u will have problems like, lose power etc...they say not to drive hard when ur o2 are bad. something else gets damage if u dont get the new o2. i am sure the guys here will post some facts i am still a noob learning something new everyday

Do you have enough oil in the car? If you dont, the VTEC wont engage and the car will stall and studder when you try to past the engagement point (around 4k). Check the level, top it off and take it for a ride.
