Default Please helpppppppppp?

I am new to this web site so please help me out. I have search but haven’t got the answer. I just bought a 96 accord LX. I really want to have a sway bar since my car doesn’t come with it. My question is can I go to the dealers get all the parts for the parts from the EX model and assemble it and put it on the mine. It bold on right? or there any way for less? Please help

My guess would be yes. But don't quote me on that.

You can either do that and pay a ton of money, or search Ebay, and other fine Honda web boards and you'll find one for pretty cheap.

why dealers? EX don't come with strut bars, if it did, it's little piping that doesn't do much.
not all ebay stuff is bad you know.

I need a sway bar not a strut bar, thinking getting a mounting kit from the dealer, a good endlinks and progress sway bar 22mm, what you thinks?

you have no sway bars at all? not even the stock ones?

remember, you upgrade to something as large as a 22mm bar, you'll start messing with the integrity of your handling.

as far as parts go, .Com parts stores are a dime a dozen. there's nothing a google search and a store check on http://www.resellerratings.com/ won't fix.

let that be your friend. not the dealer.

oh btw,
for 6th gen accord's, u can get a Acura TL Type-S sway bars and fit it into accord with out a problem, a nice cheap little upgrade if that is the kind of upgrade you are looking at, not sure about your model :/
good luck with that link.

i think TL type S sways only fit 6th gens...and sway bars are bolt ons...iono about 5th gens but i know for 4th gens, you have to drill a hole in the crossmember of LX's/DX's or buy the EX crossmember, because the LX's/DX's don't come ready for a sway bar
