Default 6th gen sedan warped rotors?

well lately when i brake, it seems like i'm hitting my brakes off and on, like i'm jamming them but i'm just holding them in, and i thinking that i need new rotors, does anyone know what else it could be, i'm going to check my brake fluid soon cause i'm in class right now, but if it is warped rotors what is a good site for them and a good kind, my car is a 98 accord lx 4dr with no abs.

does the steering wheel vibrate when you brake? I'm not sure if I'm getting at what the problem is. is you pedal soft when you brake? give some more detail on what the problem is.

yeah the steering wheel vibrates when i brake, the firmness of the pedal doesn't seem softer or harder, it seems about the same

ye man i had the same problem you have warped rotors were you racing??? or did you just slam on the brakes doin 100+ like i did.. anywayz the 6th gens are known to be bad on brakes now i don't know abou the ABS ones but as far as i know most of the Lx Accords around here Non ABS have the same problems now don't go and spent money on the stock ones againe get on ebay and get some Brembo Sloted rotor that are the stock size and are made for your stock accord thats what i have right now i got them for 150 for a set of two so don't go stock or esle you will go down again.

but if you apply the brakes and it feels you are pumping them, it also means they are wraped...

just get some blanks, cheaper and it saves you pads.

i guess wedley2 is right if you are not really hard on your brakes (which i am) you should just get some blank stock ones.should last you but get what you think is right for your foot.

sounds like warped rotors to me too. I agree with wedley2, get some brembo blank OEM replacements and a decent set of pads. I've got the AEM pads and Brembo blanks and they work well for me and they didn't cost too much. I got my brake stuff off www.nopi.com decent price and pretty quick shipping.(well for ground shipping)
