Default In winter, how early should I start my car up before I go?

Say the temperature in the morning will be 20-30 degrees.

i dont think the time matters, as long the car is h0t when u drive away should be good. and u dont really have to wait for the car to be h0t befor eu go, u can drive away with the car cold but u got to drive slow dont punch it. i hate with a passion the ppl that warm up there car flooring the gas while the car is not even moving, i dont understand the point of that, better drive away slowsly instead of sitting there damagin the engine for no reason. a good tip is, turn ur car on and put it on drive/gear make sure ur e-brake is on and the car will warm up faster without touching the gas "read the manual" this is the correct thing to do.

most people say about 10mins good to have that remote startup so you can do it in your house before you shower, etc... saves alot of time.

The best way to warm up your car is to drive it at low RPMs. True story. But I usually let my car idle (remote start) for 4 or 5 mins because I'm a pussy and like getting into a warm car h:

:werd:I agree with you and 98CoupeV6. you have to give the oil a chance to warm up and lub the engine. low RPMs until the tep gage rises. now if you have frost on your car that is a different story. I wait till I can see out the window then I'll drive away. if the car is warm by that time, I'll punch it.
