if the E-brake is on and is on gear nothing will happen unless u accelerate. is ok to have remote start on manual but is illigal because the car can accidentely some how accelerate and if is on a gear even with the Ebrake on it will just fly away like a bird. also u can forget to have the ebrake on. if u going to get a alarm/remote start dont get some cheap stuff. get some DEI/clifford samething, something like flyromeos or mine a matrix rss III DEI makes good stuff never ever have had a problem and not one false alarm yet and u dont need the key to start the car. plus u can program the alarm to turn ur car on at whatever time u wish every day and the alarm keeps the car on for 12mins then turns off by itself and if u open any door or trunk without diactivating the alarm the car willl shut off also when u press gas or brake the car turns off. and the valet mode is not a key u just do a combination n the remote very easy and sets the valet mode. is one of the thing i dont regret expending my money on.

Why is this thread still going?

If you read the owners manual it plainly states to only let it run for 1 minute before driving in ALL temperatures.

This is a silly thread, read your owners manual...the information in it is helpful.

It's still going because people are asking about remote start for manuals now.
