My children, son 9, and daughter 10, are doing good. They are both back in school after taking a couple days off and are a little nervous about riding in a car now, but that's to be expected.
I'll be headed back to work tomorrow, not really looking forward to it but gotta do it. Thanks again guys.

Hang in there homie. Make sure you watch your children. Remember i told you to talk to them? It was ironic because the next day in my psychology class we were talkin about post-traumatic stress and they mentioned car accidents in children. And like i thought talking to them really helps them get through it and prevents any further development of a stress disorder. So when you think they are ready get them talkin about what happen so they arent afraid to express themselves. Hit me up if u need anything and i'll stay in touch.

may god bless you, your kids, and especially your uncle. anything lost in this life will be exponentially rewarded in the next.
I lost an extremely close friend to a drunk driver....17 yrs old. great future. (rip z, we still miss u). took a while to accept God has better things for him there than here.
rip to your uncle. my condolences to you and yours.\

That's rough man. Don't try to beat yourself up over what you could have and couldn't have done. I'm sure your uncle would know you did your best to make the right decisions in a situation like that where split-seconds matter. I would have probably done the exact same thing. I don't know you that well but you have my condolences. The drunk driver will no doubt goto jail and rehab, and live with the fact that he took a life that meant something when his own does not.
