Default Which is lighter 94-97 Accord or 97-up prelude?

Just curious if anyone knows which model is lighter. I have had this discussion with many people and no one knows for sure. I am doing a H22 Swap into my 97 accord so I know the car will be heavier than stock.

Yep. 3300lb curb weight for the Accord. 4000lbs would not fly with me.

h22 is heavier than F22s so yes, your car will be heavier. Given the both cars weigh around the same.

my car weighed in at 2683 lbs with the h22, full interior except for no sound deading in the rear

according to the link above.

Coupes and Sedan's weigh in at 2855, and wagons weigh in at 3053

Preludes ... http://auto.consumerguide.com/auto/u...ex.cfm/id/2265 wiegh in at 2954..

So.... whoever said an accord weighs 4000lbs is a fvking idiot. I'm sorry but learn to do better research bud. The only Honda I see capable of weighing over 4,000lbs is an oddessy.

5th gen prelude are no popular cause they're the heaviest of the bunch. Any 4th or 5th gen accord with H22 should beat any stock 5th gen lude given same driving skills and no bolt ons
