Well, it wasnt the driver side that went out on mine, it was the passenger, but still the same idea. First thing i would do is check your fuses. If that isnt it, it could be the power window motor (which could be, but rarely happens) or the master switch (which is what was wrong w/ mine). Honestly it could be something as simple as a stripped wire. Hopefully you find out whats wrong and fix it before the rain hits.

it should be on the driver side door if i am correct.. someone correct me if i am wrong..

it maybe a loose fuse, stripped wire, or the motor may be broken.. open your door up and check it out man..

Did the window go up and down real slow, and then fail, or did it completely die all of a sudden?

Id do the usual check all the fuses near your feet on the drivers side, and under the hood, but the window motors die pretty frequently on the Accords, so I wouldnt be surprised if that is it. If your window is going up and down real slowly, you can lube the tracks with silicone spray to help em, but thats only really buying time.

my front passenger window motor died less than 6 months after i got the car. luckily it was covered by warranty

i wouldn't be surprised if that's what it is for you.

what you do is take out the control pieces on the door..

there's a THICK black wires that is under the switch. push that in with hand or tools, and have a friend push the roll up button, and most likely it will go back up. i'm guessin , the wires are either loose or stripped.

its doesn't take alot of time, maybe about 5 min to fix...

and if that doesn't work, mostly likely u're master switch is bad..u need to replace

Its on the driver side door; the electronic panel that has all the window controls and child saftey lock control and side mirror adjustment.

I just fixed a '96 driver's side power window. If it's slow going up, spray some WD-40 in the tracks. If it's not a fuse or switch but the motor, than you will have to purchase the complete motor/track/cables. It comes put together; you just bolt it up.

If it's shot, you can take off the door panel and get the window up manually in the meantime, to keep out the rain. Just prop a piece of wood under the glass until you can get it fixed, or use something like silicone tape to hold it in the "up" position.
