How much would this cost and difficulty level?
What would I need?
I think hondadriver22 might have these questions in mind.

thanks

use search https://www.honda-acura.net/forums/search.php

i actually answered this question when he asked it before

https://www.honda-acura.net/forums/s...ht=tranny+swap

here are some pics when i did it.

final product

if you have never changed a clutch before i wouldnt recommend you trying it yourself. its about 5x worse than a clutch job, putting the pedals and master cylinder in and shit is a pain in the ass.

cost came out to be about $1k. $320 for exedy racing clutch and hd pressure plate, i got this clutch only because im running nitrous, $250 for the tranny, and the rest on the rest of the parts, fluids, and tools. again, the only reason i did it cuz i think my car is pretty heavily modded... if my car wasnt heavily modded i would have sold it and bought one that is already 5spd.

who in their right mind would buy a brand new tranny from honda.
id much rather buy an entire h22 swap with a lsd 5spd tranny.

i picked it up locally and it had about 60k on it, half of what my motor has.
