It's not that rough on them if you're going really slow, hmm?

What's your deal? You're being an elitist jackass. Yes, I know NOTHING about cars, that's why I'm here. The last time I checked, this appeared to be a support forum, no? I'm here to get help because I'm completely dense and lacking of common sense when it comes to car. I mean, if you're just going to be sarcastic and of no help, why do you bother posting? Do you not have anything better to be doing so you do this to waste some of your time (and mine)?

Once you explain to me how I am elitist, I will properly respond to your accusations.

Sorry if I appear rude, it's just that your questions defy common sense in such a way that I seriously have never seen on this forum. It took an adjustment period to get used to it Plus your questions aren't stated very well...you throw around pronouns like crazy.

Im going to be Switzerland and stay neutral.

nhatters - we know ur new with cars and theres nothing more that we like than to help a fellow newb. ( At least I do ). Im just sitting here dying of laughter at this question.. I mean you remind me of my sister when she first learned to drive and she learned hard by ramming my parents 1 month old lexus RX330 into 8 parked cars/ a fence/ and stopped in someones front house.

98coupe..- ur funny man!!..that was funny but then again he does need help and not to be dissed.....lol!!.....I cant stop laughing......hahaha...brb.

ok now to the point....
Its ok to nick a curb here and there but I would stay away from them.
Scratch up a rim, blow a tire etc..

If you hit one at a higher rate of speed your gonna end up breaking and bending your axle, strut, strut bar.......thats just the minor stuff.

Someone on HAN actually had this happen to him and he explained what parts were broken and the price he paid.

how your car treatin ya?

I mean, how would you feel if you were completely new to a forum and whenever you would ask for help, this person always comes in, makes fun of you because you don't know what they know, and never actually answers the question? I'm sorry I lack so much common sense, but that's just how I am and all I can do is learn. Cars have never been my thing, all I know is that it stops and goes. If you were going to be thrusted into an entirely new environment, wouldn't you ask stupid questions here and there if you didn't know how things operated? I'm completely paranoid about my car because my parents gave it to me and I want it to last. And again, I apologize because English is not my first language, hence the bad grammar.

Like right here...

Yes, because it doesn't depend at all on your transmission or engine. The correct answer is 54.8876 MPH. If you need it in KMH give me a yell.
Was the tone necessary? I honestly didn't know it depended on my transmission and engine.

What are some signs to let you know if something is broken?
