These cars can go over a few curbs and be fine, right?

i think you've got your answer in the various replies people have made. basically just don't do it. if you're going too fast you're asking for trouble and a potentially huge repair. if you're going REAL slow, you'll probably be okay, but why should you ever go over a curb to begin with? going over curbs routinely even at slow speeds can't be good for alignment at the very least. i'm assuming you drive some sort of accord, and not a honda SUV (since this is the accord forum). there are also some pretty tall curbs out there. so why bother? just be careful and don't drive over any curbs.

I'm just asking as a precautions thing. Some fast food places here have weird entrances. I couldn't see when it was dark and rainy once and ran over one of their curbs. It's not like I said I drive over curbs every day.

lol.....drive over curbs daily....lol..........

look at your alignment feel the way it drives. Does it pull to one side...like alot. does it vibrate or do you hear it making a loud clanking noise as you drive? I guess thats all i can think of right now.

No. None of those except for the pulling to one side, but I'll assume it's because our roads are very tilted. I guess all is fine.

If it pulls to one side, I'd have it checked out...

And, ya, alotta places have weird entrances... like our safeway here (thank God they're fixin in right now...) it just... dips like 3"... just like that, and then up again... pretty bad for cars...

Ya, becareful w/ those curbs, bumps, dips, etc... especially anything that is pretty noticable when going over...

I'm completely paranoid about my car because my parents gave it to me and I want it to last. And again, I apologize because English is not my first language, hence the bad grammar.

haha, reminds of me when my friend was day dreaming about a sandwich and he took a corner a bit too quick in his civic and the next thing he hears is PSSSSHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

his back right tire was blown out by the sidewalk and he has no spare tire. he had to leave his car in the ghettist area of town until he could get a spare, lol.

I mean, do you think you're funny? Is this making you feel better about yourself or something?

"Oh, look at me! I know this and this about cars! Oh, look at him! He knows nothing about cars! What an idiot! Ha ha ha!"

Why do you think I'm calling you an elitist? Because all you do is make fun of and insult me for being dumb and "lesser" than you instead of actually helping.

If this is your way of "helping," I sure as hell don't want it.

Seriously, do us both a favor and just don't respond to any of my topics. It'll help both of us out.

if your car is pulling to one side, the toe is probably way off and could eat your tires quickly. i'd go get an alignment ASAP.

PunkAssKidThe1s, you should see how crappy my driveway is. it dips down as the street ends and angles back up right as the driveway starts. i even scraped at stock height when going at a slight angle. now that i'm dropped i have to take a more extreme angle.
