Default gasoline price??

Hi guys

With the gasonline prices skyrocketing. I started putting regular gasoline with octane 87 (mobil, bp)

Does these special , super or just regular really make a difference , I personally do not feel any difference so far in my driving but the price sure does..

Thanks.. any thoughts

Super helps your motor out in the combustion phase of engine stroke. The higher the octane the lease chance of detonation. If you have a stock Civic or accord even alittle modded then normal gas should be just fine. Onty when you have FI then super is a "must".

I've been broke for a while and running the cheap stuff too until a couple days ago. This time I put in 93 and I can feel a little bit of difference, the car seems peppier, might be mental though.

Here in Georgia, 91 is slightly less than $2 bucks a gallon. I must be cheap cuz most of the time I use 89 for around $1.89 a gallon. I do notice a difference when I do use 91...car is peppier.

I've always ran 87 in my 94 Accord. I recently moved to southern CA, and I had my car completely loaded down to where the bumpers were about an inch from the ground. For that reason I threw a tank of 91 in. On the straightaway (interstate 5) I didn't notice any difference, but the car did get up the grapvine much easier with the higher octane gas.
