On a stock accord anything except regular gas is a waste of money. It doesnt have the compression that requires a higher octane to prevent detonation. If you want to use Super for the better cleaners, etc, then go for it, but that higher octane is not needed.

87 for my 94 Accord. With the amount of driving I do its too expensive to use anything higher.

This is correct however running Premium does not get you a cleaner octane. They all have the same amount of "cleaner" in the gas. Running Premium in an engine that is rated for Regular can actually cause problems, such as higher combustion temperatures due to the higher octane fuel igniting at a higher temperatures. This is a known fact so read about it! It's a waste to run higher octane in engines that don't need it. If you run a higher octane to eliminate ping, then your engine needs a tune up or plug change.

Not true, some sellers use higher/different additives in their blends.

Still stands, if all you need is regular, anything more is a waste.

my gauge does crazy stuff. One minute it will be full and the next it will have 3/4 of a tank. it does this on a regular basis so i have gotten used to it. (is there any way to fix that?)
