Anywayz, I think that it's a valet switch b/c they placed my aftermarket alarm's near the hood latch as well, but with mine you have to punch in a code to stop the alarm.

alright so then all alarms on fifth generation accords including the SE were put in by the dealer as i waas told...... and every dealer puts in a different brand of alarm....i suppose i got the one with the comp chip thnn
