Does anybody know where you can get the stock indash 6disk changer for an 04 model, and if can you add the radio controls to the steering wheel.

my pop got an 04 coupe, i have an 04 sedan. his is EX, mine LX and he has the 6 disc in-dash changer with steering wheel controls, i have 1 disc changer and no steering controls. if you want to get ripped off get it at the dealer, otherwise find someone that went aftermarket or find one in a junkyard. i've asked about swapping steering wheels with the coupe but noone seems to know 100% if its possible. seems like it is though, good luck

 

thanks dude, the radios seem hard to find and nobody can say 100% if the wheel controls will fit.......thanks

 

eBay has them every now an then. I have an EX with the controls on my wheel, but I just got some off the TSX (Metallic Look) to match my interior, so I am going to have my stock controls laying around. As far as the radio, they are on eBay as well. BTW, the wheel controls will fit, but you will have to change the radio and get a plug that the EX has the LX, DX does not have. I am changing out the controls on Friday, I will let you know what I am talking about exactly, there is a plug you need to get, just not sure which one.
