people dont hate FWD, they hate honda

 

None of those cars can beat a mustang Gt unless the driver is retarded, a GT has more HP and torque and all those cars mentioned. A gripe i always here is "Yeah but its still Front wheel drive" Or "Its a nice car but its front wheel drive for people who cant drive".

 

If honda/acura had other RWD cars besides the S2000 and NSX they might get alittle more respect A LITTLE.

anyways, i really like the coupe. has anyone noticed that the manual shift knobs in the new accord is exactly the same as the 2002 s2k? pretty cool.

 

fwd or rwd is nothing when comparing the market. the mustang is a totally different market....WE RULE the family department in speed, realiability, and all around quality with honda products. We also RULE in aftermarket support....pretty much everybody makes add on/mods for honda's...its a MUST. Mustangs are played out to me, old, and i have yet to only see ONE that actually looked good modded. The only thing they have is an engine and YES..that matters at the track...but..dont you want some attention on the road? I never notice mustangs...i see some altezza stangs..thats about it. I know they can whoop a stock accords BUTT!!! If i wanna race all day and kick everyones butt i'll buy a stang...if i wanna have a daily driver with LOTS of modding future and a highly supportive aftermarket scene..i'll buy a honda!

So...did i or did i not get off the topic of rwd vs. fwd? hah...well..lets just say....we have our marbles in the front..stangs have them spread out. Maybe that helps with grip when dragging....i dont know on that one.

My whole thing about mustangs came up about the certain cars being able to beat them, i agree and think they are ugly but if you think mustangs are played, then what are hondas? For people who are into cars performance the FWD Vs RWD Vs AWD means alot to people. If your talking about permance not many people would get a FWD car. As for honda's beating everybody else in the family department, the maxima kills the accord in every thing except looks on the outside.

 

Hmmm....how much is the maxima? Is in the same price range as the accord? When i'm talkin about mustangs being played out...i meant that mustangs been around since what...40's? 50's? I dont know my ford history....but...they have been around a LONG time...and they still look the same with no real BIG improvments...just better engine...still a 5 speed right as the manual tranny option?

Ur right....none of those cars could kick a stangs butt, i agree with that, mustangs can whip alot of cars..thats what their made for ya know.

Yeah you can get a base model SE for starting at around 23/24 grand. It goes up fast once you add on other things like leather seats etc the usual. So even though people say the altima is supposed to compete with the accord i say so is the maxima. Mustangs have went over a dramatic change in looks. A 66 stang looks nothing like a 85 stang or a 96-2003 one either.
