"My '98 does not glow orange, it's a pale green. A little confusing, but whatever"

Really? My 98 V6 glows orange/amber! That's weird. My parent's 99 4cyl. is orange as well.

As for where to get them, the only place you won't pay an arm and a leg is ebay, does anyone else know of a place besides ebay?

wow, that is weird, ebay...heh...I dont trust ebay, but I suppose if I find a good seller, then it's worth a shot, I wonder how much they go for at the dealership...probably more that i want to know, though.

Most ebay sellers are pretty good, just be sure to read feedback, and try to get one with the code sent with it so you don't have to play the game of getting a dealership to give it to you for free. Many posted guarentee against a DOA for at least 2 weeks, and some will let you return it if it doesn't fit or something...

I'm actually taking my car to the dealer tomorrow to get a replacement headlight assembly(I'm not even paying the bill!), I will ask while I am there, I think it retails for somewhere in the neighborhood of $600-$700.

One more side note: For listings on ebay of these units, I have seen that some do not say HONDA on the tape deck door, and some do. More specifically, the one's that don't say Honda have a clock on them as well, you can see the H M R labels below the 4,5,6 buttons. I wonder if these were included in some models of Acuras or Isuzus.... and the ones that say Honda only in the 01-02 Accord EX's...

Does anyone have one/know where the ones with the clock came from? Does the clock always display instead of the status(ie what cd is playing/track/station freq, etc)? I would rather see the status as to the clock since there is a clock right above it between the vents.

Thanks again!

Does anyone know if the brackets are interchangable on the two head units? I would think so...
