Hey n00b check yourself. You post some stupid shit like that on here, be prepared for the flames. You say "dam (which is spelled incorrectly) kids I swear" - that seems a bit odd, since I only see teenage ricer wanna-be's with shit like that on their car.

Check out www.superhonda.com - You might fit in with that crowd a little better.

Dont worry we all go through the stage of having the dreaded altezzas, youll come to the light side one of these days. As for the correct bulbing, just make sure there either white orange, or red and youll be okay.

Hey Surfacing171,

If anything, your the one that needs checking, your the one that started with the obnoxious response. And its very obvious that you are narrow minded... Quote: "that seems a bit odd, since I only see teenage ricer wanna-be's with shit like that on their car." So your saying based on what you seen, that being teens riding with "shit like that" Everyone is a teen?

Do everyone a favor, don't post a response unless you are going to be helpful and respectful. It will save the administrators money and a lot of bandwidth. With that said, I'm out of this thread!

Thanks everyone for the appropriate response.

Actually, if you are so concerned about the owner of the board saving money, why do you make so ridiculous posts about what bulbs you should put in your altezzas. If you are TRULY concerned about saving bandwidth and money, you would have searched for the respose to this question it has been covered many times. I never said everyone is a teen!? I don't know what ****ing limb your out on, but I never even implied that everybody was a teen. Do us on HAN a favor, and search before you post ridiculous topics that have been covered MULTIPLE TIMES.

Again, I will refer you to www.superhonda.com - I think you'll be a much better match for that crowd.

#1 how much did you pay for those lights?
#2 the plastic will fade/discolor over time on those lights to a yellowish color especially if the car is in the sun for many hours during the day
if you like them whatever
if you want white turn signals put in white bulbs if you want them to be "hyper white" get some PIAA bulbs

Actually no he wouldnt.
My status over there is established pretty well and I know for a fact this thread would have been either closed or deleted by either a mod or super mod over there. This type of bashing, mud slinging would not be tolerated at all at superhonda. Not in the slightest. If it continues I recommend site ban by ip.
To answer the question; in most states it is illegal to have ANY clear lights to the rear of the vehicle in reference to tail lights. Even if the proper color bulb is in place it would still be technically illegal as clear lenses are designed for "off road" use only which means "not for use on public roads"
We actually dealt with this issue back when the all clear tails were the hotness and yea its illegal.
If you are pressed to use clear lights, brake lights must be red, signals must be orange or amber and there can be no blue lights visible to the exterior of your car in any direction. The only colors that are legal to the front of the vehicle is yellow or amber for signals and corners and white for headlights, there may be no red or blue visible to the front of the vehicle.
IF YOU MUST persist with those altezza type of tails, I suggest buying red bulbs for the brake lights and amber or whatever color u prefer for the backup and turn signal lights. The reason why is because altezza style lenses are very cheaply made and usually tend to fade over time and very quickly. Using a red bulb will help ensure your light does not look pink-ish to the rear of the vehicle.
