hhhmm...ur right..that might be happening too....thats why you should grease ur brake caliper joints everytime you change ur pads.....buy some caliper grease and grease em up!

im guessing its just "going down gear" sorta like how u can "engine brake" on a stick, cuz u aint accelorating no more.
