As others have stated, if you were not a girl, I really doubt people would be being as nice as they are, myself included. When I had the accord if I saw a car like that I'd catch up to it and if there was a girl I'd leave them alone(I'm married and not in the market for any side poonany) but if it was a guy I would wait to see if what he'd do when he saw a car like mine beside him. Oddly enough most of them would try to show off(isn’t that the whole point for the body kits?) and most of the time I’d shut them down, either by blowing their doors off, or showing them what real bass sounds like. My other favorite torture was to sit there pointing and laughing whilst shaking my head, especially with altezza tails. Juvenile? you bet. Entertaining? ohhhh yeah.
You’ll find the general consensus amongst most import fans, cleaner is better. More bling is not the thing. But it’s all personal preference. If you like your car, that’s all that matters.
As far as your resale value tirade above, you say that now, but if something every happened to your car you’d might sing a difference tune. I had over $15K invested in the accord, on top of the $25k original price, but the instant it got hurt I completely lost interest, now my goal is to get back into auto Xing(I loved to rip up the asphalt when I had my turbo lude), and maybe a few test and tune days at Laguna Seca, as well as have a very functional car that looks bland enough to make the average R-boy lose interest(there will be no WRX badges, no huge exhaust, and as plain as can be, well except for over 300hp at the crank)
It’s all opinion. The thing is, if you truly don’t give a F$%#, then don’t act like it, just brush the haters off, it’s always worked for me.

If you think i'm sugarcoating what i say because she's a girl, check my other posts, i've said plenty of stuff and given feedback on stuff that i like and don't like, but i'm not a dick about it. What's the point of being rude? so you can be the "big bad internet forum thug?" because your not afraid to "tell it like it is" , well neither am i, i told her to change a lot of shit because i didn't like how it looked, maybe you should go domestic and buy an excursion so your ego will fit inside.

shit, took me like 15mins to read all these posts...So now that im done, lemme throw some gas back on the fire... A lot of people talk about resale value, but i dont really give a shit about resale value unless youre gonna sell it. But when i was talking about seeing the light, i wasnt calling you dumb. But your shit is gonna be hurt when this kit is installed, and the oem lip WILL look better then the kit. Shit, if you dont believe us, let one of your guy friends drive it around a college parking lot, then ask him how many people laughed at your shit... And goin back to the people that are nice to you just cuz youre a girl-- of phucking course they are being nice to you cuz youre a girl, if you were a dude there wouldnt be ONE compliment given for that shit
