It's not a problem at all. Just as long as they're all the same size.

I always put the better tires up front. Its the front that does all the driving. The rear is just in it for the ride. When u break, accelerate, corner its all up front.

Maybe the article said to put the good ones in the rear because oversteer isn't "safe". If you had new tires up front and bold ones in the rear ur ass end could slide around. This won't happen in your case so just put the cointinentals up front.

now you got me confused. I've definitely decided not to switch all 4.

However, now I am trying to decide whether or not to put the old ones or the new ones in the front.

I figure tires are very, very important. I'd rather not spin out and hit a curb, or wall, or another car.

i put my new ones on the front.... i figured our cars are FWD, therefore all the control is on the front tires.... that;s y i put them up front......

but i've read articles saying u should put the new ones on the back.... something to do with losing control when hitting a water puddle.... but that's BS... i've hit millions of puddles and no prob

Its fine, and Id personally put the new ones up front in a FWD drive car, especially since the winter is over. Once they get to a level similar to the rears, I would rotate them.

The only place I could find in my size was 1010 tires, and they were charging 146 + like 40 for shipping for one tire.

I'm leaning towards putting on these Continentals and eventually switching all 4. I don't want to spend anymore into these Pirelli's becasue I've had such bad experience with bubbles on the side walls.

I'm assuming that is why you need one tire, right?
