Hey I live in So CAL int he valley in Ontario and the normal Summer temps are 90-102 out there, I have a summer job in Chicago so i`m not home to take car of the car we`ll i asked my bro to move my car and when he went in to turn it on the alarm goes off the door locks dont work and the lights are dim. Is it my battery too hot???? I know heat kills the battery its a 97 so the batt is 5 yrs old and i`ve killed it several times this past year.Do i need a new battery?

 

sounds like the battery...exact thing happened to me this morning...had to replace mine...someone told me to also drive careful for next 2 days cause it may be alternator...just my 2 cents...hope it helps

Roll out to any pepboys or autozone and they'll test it for free. But it really does sound like the battery needs to be replaced.
