quest for a faster accord again
Okay, last time i was asking if i should drop a h22 in my 6th gen. Well the general response was it would cost too much and i should probably just get turbos. Well, what about droping in a V6 accord engine, then do a 5sp conversion (my car is already 5sp, and i wanted to keep it that way). I would have the same hp as a h22, and it would be more reliable as far as f/i goes. But only thing is, im not sure how much its going to cost for the conversion. Or, could i put a 2003 v6 6sp in ?

u are making life much more complicated LOL. I don't think u can put a manual on the v6 since they only came in auto. THe v6 will eigh a lot more than a four. Just boost that bitch and have more power to the wheels than any of those engines. Well maybe not the 03 but u get my drift. Plus u will have the phsssssst

I like your idea of a H22 swap. I swapped a F20B into my car..........big mistake.....don't do swaps that aren't general to the public on these shores.....wiring will kill you! Don't listen to people if they say don't do it. I say do what you want to do and what you dream about doing, thats the only way you'll be happy and satisified with your car's end results Good luck!

H22 in a 6th Gen is not that expensive though. It should be easy and you'll have more room for turbo later on.
6th Gen V6 swap is pretty cheap, I saw one complete block for 1300 somewhere with real low miles. Also, I've heard about the tranny not being able to keep up with the V6+turbo or something. Plus It's not that popular nor has that much of potential being a SOHC.
03 V6 - Keep dreaming, it's the most expensive of all unless you're getting them the illegal ways.
