car: silver '03 accord coupe.

theory: recently saw a mirror tint and liked it a lot but it looked bad on a black benz. then i though silver body might go well with silverish windows.

option 1: limo tint all around. (main side windows lighter of course than smaller side 2 and back)

option 2: mirror tint all around.

option 3: limo in back and small side 2, and mirror on the main side ones.

without insulting my taste, any constructive input?

 

If i Had to choose between mirror and limo for your car, I would go with limo. Mirror tint cheapens the appearance of a car IMO.

 

Mirror tints suck. They seem so cheap and annoying.
Get 20% tints. If YOUR state law permits get limo tints 0 %.

I have 20 % all around and 35% on my windshield and in NY State/ City your not allowed to have tints at all.......lol...

 

I agree mirror tints do suck ass, they look cheap as hell. 20% is nice and dark, anything else is ridiculous. I have a buddy w/ 3% all around on his sentra and he has to roll down his windows to back up at night. That is just too dark. Go with 20% :thumbup:

 

how u like the 35 in the front? u have the whole windshield tinted or just a strip, i was thinking of doing this

At night the only problem i have is looking out the side view mirrors.
If there isnt a car there with their lights on and I merge over I will hit em cause I wont see them. ( which will be their fault since they dont have their lights on ).

Go 20% kinda dark in the day time but not really you can see an image of people in the car but you wont really be able to see them.
Also a good thing for cops, when they pull up just open the moonroof visor and let some light shine and your good.

 

Here in the Chattanooga, TN/North Georgia area 35% and 32% are the max respectively. I'd go with 35 myself.

 

i dunno...out here mirror is illegal....i've got platinum tint....it's got a mirror type effect but at night it looks dark, i like it alot better than black tint...and on silver cars platinum/mirror is the only way to go
