Default Monroe Sensatrac Struts?

Anyone have any kind of experience with them? I'm planning to replace my oem struts with the monroe struts but I'm not sure if they are good. Some people have been telling me to get the koni's instead but will they work well with oem springs? I'm not planning to lower my ride but I just need new struts. My rear struts are leaking oil already. Please give me your suggestions! Thanks

if you don't want to lower your car, the koni's are overkill. The KYB GR-2 struts are very affordable and would make a great oem replacement for you.

do you think the AGX are meant more for aftermarket springs? I'm just looking at something I can replace my oem struts with. I'm guessing the GR2's would be a nice choice. Tirerack.com sells them for 166.55 shipping and tax included. Is that a good deal?

you recommend these as oem replacement only? Wow, a bit overkill IMO.

That would be my opnion, AGX if you're gonna lower the car. That is a very good deal, I think that's where I was gonna get mine from, they are like $50 ea for the rear, $30 ea for the fronts, something like that. Yeah, go for it, you aren't gonna find a better price than that.

but he's not planning on lowering his ride

I actually have all 4 brand new monroe sensatrac struts in the boxes, if you want them i will sell them to you for cheaper then what you would pay at the store. Make an offer and i will look into shipping. Later, Dave.

Would the GR2s work good with a set of H&R Sports or Neuspeed sports?

I have a buddy on another board who has GR-2's on his 5th gen accord w/18's and he has no complaints with them. The springs he has are Neuspeed sports. He's had this setup for over a year and a half and no problems what so ever. This is the set up I was wanting to get since I can get the shocks for about $160 and the springs for about $140, not bad for a suspension setup huh?
