Hey Kenton,
Where are you located I have TYC projectors w/Silver Stars.
[QUOTE=kenton]
American SilverStar: 55w/30% brighter than OEM, blue/amnethyst coating on bulb.
European SilverStar: 55w/50% brighter than OEM, clear coating on bulb.

I'm running the Euro-S (lol) as my highs and lows in my TYC Projectors. I'll post pictures soon at night (versus my mom's 98 Mercury Tracer with Ford OEM bulbs.) I'd love to get a side-by-side comparison of the American SilverStars vs the European SilverStars, but alas. . .

I work for a body shop that repairs brand new Hondas/Acuras everyday and we've thrown away many Hid systems because once one piece is damaged we normally just order a complete new OEM set. So I can easily get the stuff for myself for free...

I'm just wondering, would it be legal for me to use these in my car? Or would I get a ticket? I live in Ohio
Matter of fact I get stopped at a check point by my house every fricken night on my way back from school.

Last night they stopped me and in fact the cops were checking out my HIDS.
They were complementing me on the lights which I found very very strange.
I mean I even had my license in my hand ready to give it to them........
( They were checking for seat belts I saw from his eyes ).

Cops really don't care / Example: if your going 70 or 80 in a 45 your getting pulled over, if your going 50 to 60 harly any cop really cares, etspecialy if you slow down. So if you have some 6000 or 8000 hids in your factory headlights then your getting pulled over, but if you have like the 4100 or 4300 in some projectors then your probably not going to get pulled over and they might actually like them like "flyromeo3." Even better if you did a retrofit with some BMW Projectors, ballest, and Phillips hid bulbs about 4100 or 4300 whatever the # is, you would have the best lights on the road (I love mercedes, but BMW leads the market in lights on the road)! Just make sure you dont put hids in a factery headlight assembly with no projectors because it give off to much glare and that is why cops pull you over, + it looks stupid and really cheap on accords, but with projectors they dont because the projectors project light mostly in a straighter line unlike reflectors in regular lights which just scatter light almost everywhere not even lighting the road!
