95 Accord cat back question
do the aftermarket catback systems [complete system w/ resonator, mid, and muffler] for 94-97 Accord have the same bolt on location regardless how the pipe is bent? if anyone experienced knows please speak out. I know you think im crazy but what if I just want to install the resonator end and the mid-straight pipe, but leave the stock muffler? I am partially serious about it because I alway come up with weird ideas when I think of the word "sleeper."
or would it be easier to just pay an exhaust specialist to straighten out the exhaust pipes and put a hi-flow muffler? please give me your feedback people.

The shapes are similar but the bolts won't line up (think along the lines of a 15" tire on a 14" rim). Go to muffler shop to have them do an exhaust system for you. Be sure they mandrel bend and not crush bend the pipes. It may take a while to find a shop that does that, but it'll pay off in the end.
Back in the day, Flowmaster used to make a muffler that was black with a modest 2" chrome tip. It looked good, but was as loud as any other Flowmaster.

the stock exhaust behind the cat is made up of 2 pipes, MOST aftermarket cat-backs are 3 sections, the flanges dont line up.
I'd suggest the same as him, find a shop to MANDREL BEND some like 2" piping with a "high-flow" muffler that still resembles the stock muffler (oval shaped, not chrome, dual tips) maybe finish it off with some 97-99 CL muffler tips. See if they can install a resonator mid-way, or even a second, smaller muffler.
I'm probably going to go that route really soon, my WS draws too much attention, it looks like a polished 55-gallon barrel under the back of my car.
