Freekin door dings!

Freekin door dings!
I'm gonna start parking away from other cars in parking lots cuz I noticed since ive had my accord (about 9 months) its gained a few door dings. It sucks cuz you can't feel them at all, but when the sun glares off the clearcoat you can see them pretty cleanly. Is there anyway to get these things out myself without getting it professionally done? Also, what about this do-it-yourself ding remover?= http://www.dingkingtool.com
Does it look legit? Suggestions greatly appreciated.

From my experience, you can't do much about door dings or anything of the such but choose better parking spaces. From personal experience, I have six very minor dings (shows up very well on black), and I am a total ASS about parking spaces. I've been known to circle parking lots for 45 minutes just to find one that I think is safe for my car.
Here's my tips about parking:
- park between cars with small doors and make sure you have a very good distance between the cars. side toward the one that seems safer (if you park next to a camry and a ferrari, get closer to the ferrari because the owner probably doesn't have kids kicking doors open)
- park next to the right side of vans that slide doors open while pulling in and estimating the correct distance so if they open the passenger door it won't hit your car, but rather, your mirror.
- avoid SUVs and obvious family sedans. cars with baby seats will swing doors as wide open as they can because they need to strap their baby in and that takes room.
- if you park at the end of a succession of spots, park as far away from the other cars as you can. at the least, the guy next to you will have more room.
- if you're a real ass about things, write down or memorize license plates or leave cards on the car's window next to you that explains for them to be careful and that they're appreciated (but some people are asses and they'll really ding you for that.)
- freak out whenever someone gives you a door ding. even if you don't get money from them, at least you will get an apology and they won't do it again...until tomorrow. :fawk:

i always park WAY out (useually where you'll see other people trying to avoid dings) and on a median on one side if possible close to it!!!)
i always wanted to shave my side moldings, but knew my dingage would go way up!
this is a stupid story but i'll tell it anyway:
in 1995 I bought a brand new Integra GS-R (that was stolen in 1997 anyway). Im sitting in a parking lot waiting for my g/f to come out from the mall and some dum ho pulls up and BAM.. opened her door so hard into my car it rocked it. So i jump out and im like hi, you just nailed my poor new car and she actually said 'sucks to be you' ... i happened to be wearing boots that day so i kicked the **** out of her SUV's door 4 times .. backedup and moved to another spot

hahah. i liked your story.
you let her off easy. if it were me i'd open my trunk and get "the beater" (copyrighted, by me...it's an easton aluminum bat) and bash the windows in. if it were a bad day or if she was really *****y, i'd do it in front of her.
i overreact. can you tell?

that dent thing works a little bit, its no miracle though. some guy used it on my car and it helped to take out some of the dents and it made the other ones samller. the glue sh!t that it uses is a little messy. you will have to use some clear coat polish or a good wax to completely remove it. GimpyAccord i loved the story

i got plenty of door dings when i had my moldings in my accord.. so i just shaved them anyway. now i just park on the end of aisles: 50% less chance of getting dings
