it's pretty straight foward.
1. get a sheet of plastic cut to about the size of the red lense
2. get 60 LEDs
3. drill holes
4. wire up the LEDs: every 4 gets one + and one - wire
5. group all the +'s and -'s together
6. replace lense with sheet
6.5 you may have to add a resistor in, i'm not sure yet
7. connect to stock wires
8. marvel at the accomplishment

same goes for the LED signals but i had to cut open the top of the tails, the holes were already drilled, and the resistor was 150 Ohm which i am about to change

it is 98% finished. they are way brighter than my signals for some reason with a 47 Ohm resistor in the mix. when i tested them, it made my trunk look like a dark room with the red light, lol. it was a pain to drill all them holes but i guess it payed off. all i have to do now is make sure none of the circuits short from touching eachother and stick the sheet in the casing and it's done. thanks for the idea AccEgo . pics will be taken next weekend along with Stage 1 completion of Project LCD boy am i tired, lol

Man! Someone finally made my dream a reality. I posted that idea on another board (turn signal LED's) almost a year ago and never went through with it. Glad to see someone attempt it and succeed! Congrats! Maybe I am going to have to try that out now that someone has pioneered it for me.
