Default H22 swap...who did it themselves?

I am toying with the idea of doing the swap myself (into a 97 2.2 CL, which is supposed to be the same job as a 97 accord) when I get my h22 this spring. I am wondering how everyone else's experiences have been when doing the swap themselves. How long did it take to complete? How difficult of a job was it?
Thanks in advance guys.

if you are mechanically inclinded and have worked on cars before it shoudn't be too much trouble. there are harnesses now to help convert to OBDII to OBDI.

without knowing you it's hard to assess, but generally if you have to ask then maybe you shouldn't try it.

have you called trickengineering?

I know the old "if you have to ask then maybe you shouldn't try it", but I was asking because I will have the help of a mechanically inclined person if I choose to swap the motor myself. He has swapped motors before with ford pickups, and rebuilt trannys. he knows his way around a garage.

Accord Sleeper: I sent trick engineering an email with a bunch of questions probably ten minutes after you told me about them, and have yet to hear back from them.

He is making fun of pirate, since you said what car it would be going into, and pirate told you to post the car it's going into. If that made sense

well then you may be ok the, i only say that cause you get people who ask that question who got absolutely no clue how to even change their oil. basically if is he good at wiring and learning from haynes manual he should do all right, cause thats the hardest part? all the other stuff should be easy for an experienced mechanic who has swapped motors in other cars before.

also, i would check out the accord hybrid forum at board.hondasociety.com the FAQs thread on H22 swaps should be helpful.
