Control arm questions regarding camber kit install
I know, I know.....not another camber kit questionh: but I have searched through the previous posts regarding this topic and have failed to see any actual installation adivce/tips. I'm about to purchase a camber kit (SPC) and want to do the install myself. But before I jump into something I might not be prepared for I thought I'd ask a few questions. Here goes:
1.) When installing the new front sliding ball joints for the front part, is it the upper control arm that it fits into?...or is it the lower control arm?....I'm %80 sure its the upper....just need reconfirmation of that.
2.) Which control arm will I be replacing in the rear? Is it the Upper/Lower/Trailing/Leading/Control arm?...again, I'm %80 sure its the control arm.
3.) How long will something like this take to complete?...for front and rear?
Since I'm not that experienced in this I would greatly appreciate any tips or advice or instructions regarding this installation. You can email me at: monay527@email.com

hmm specialty kit? the one i saw is just like my ingalls, so if it is the same then,
1) yes, upper
2) yes, upper
3) depends on how familiar you are with suspension. hopefully youll have the correct timesaving tools at hand and a friend to back you up.

I should have the kit within a week or so, I'll post up the results and any issues regarding it. (hopefully no issues).
I have all the tools needed as the Haynes manual dictates except for the 2 Jaw Puller...needed to seperate the control arm from the steering knuckle (front)....But I read somewhere that a few good taps with a hammer can take care of that issue? :dunno:

why are you getting new ball joints? If you are just doing a camber kit you dont need to mess with the knuckle.

I'll have a better idea of what I'm doing once I get to see what I'm messing with.
BTW, did I mention its for a 6G sedan?
