Default Dash Removal for 94 Accord--help!

anyone have a write-up or some tips for removing the dash on my 94 coupe? will airbag be an issue? thanks--

hmm...thats a good start. actually im looking to remove the entire top half (not just the gauge cluster) so that i can dye it black.

also...to get to the screws i just pop off the buttons (cruise, defrost, etc)?

im such a n00b :P

the best thing to do is go get the haynes manual for your car, it shows you exactly where every bolt is. thats what i did when i put my indiglo's in

If you want to move the top dash part, you got to take out the passenger airbag..To get access to the 4 bolts for the airbag you got to remove the glove compartment.

Oh ok, I wasn't sure if you just meant the the dash trim or not. In that case, yea you will have to mess with the airbag.

And about getting to the screws you will need to just stick a flat head underneath the buttons and it will just pop out to where you can reach the screws.

maybe ill just go ghetto style and dye it in place....i dont wanna get jacked by the airbag

you can unplug the airbag control. it's behind the center console i think. look for a steering wheel exchange diy and it should tell you how to unplug the srs
