2000 Accord LX with 190,000 Auto orginal engine etc.

Going in for its 2nd timing belt and water pump change, getting all the belts hoses and doing the valves at the same time.

Alot of things that wear out are as based on age as mileage... i wouldn't worry about a 2 year old thermostat with 100,000 on it as much as i would a 7 year old with 30,000. This is especially true of braking and steering components. Fact is if a car can get 50K on it a year those are def highway and you weren't doing alot of full on left right turns, highways are generally smoother (at least down south) so your suspension is still tight, and you werent slamming on the brakes as much.

Your mileage may vary but that is what my experience has shown me.

PS orginal tranny, engine etc... no issues (kepping fingers crossed)

Brian

My girlfriend has a green 2000 LX with 215K on it... similar experience.
