quick question

what do the inner and outer tie rods do. I dont really know what they do are they part of my suspension. Also how do you know when they go bad. I have a 96 honda accord

When there's a shimmy in your steering wheel. A lot of play in your steering. A worn out tie rod end will cause your suspension to feel loose.
