Thinking more and more towards Magnaflow since I can get it new for $300.

for under 3 bills your best bet would be a performance muffler, resonator(s) and custom 2.25'' pipes, but be ready for the droning and headaches it will cause on long drives. almost all of the custom exhausts ive heard are loud as **** even w/ resonators. just another bill or so you can get a Apexi WS brand new. i picked mine up used for 2 bills and i love it.

Also I purchased a silencer/baffle to go inside the exhaust to tone it down even more. Is it the custom piping that makes the exhaust system so loud?
Could I expect it to be loud even with a resonator and silencer?
-Axemansean that would be a real nice exhaust setup if you went with the magnaflow catback exhaust.
