Your hydraulic clutch system uses brake fluid. You must have a leak somewhere if you don't have any fluid in the reservoir.

Yes, it's the small reservoir, but I don't know if it'll help...do you know what happened to the fluid in the reservoir?

Your clutch isn't disengaging because all you're doing when you press down on your pedal is displacing air in the slave cylinder but anyways. Gotta find the leak, fix it then add fluid. Good luck.

Its probably the slave cylinder that went bad... when they go, it just happens quick usually. Put some fluid in the resivoir and have someone pump the clutch pedal, see if you can see where it is leaking from.

If it is the slave cylinder (right on the front of the transmission, you'll see it moving when the pedal is depressed) its easy to change. They're $20 at autozone or another parts store. Once its installed, you'll need to bleed the system with the bleeder valve on the cylinder.

i put some dot 3 brake fluid in the transmission like the manual said, since it was low. it filled up right away and when i pump the clutch there the fluid doesnt do anything and there is a lot of play in the clutch... any thoughts?

Im not sure how but, would i need to bleed the lines somehow, and is so how?>
