I'd recommend a beater, for raising the car back up and then taking off the body kit seems like a hassle. Plus it will save the Honda for the inevitable rust all Honda's get after about seven years of life in the snow belt.
A beater would also be nice if your car is really "tricked out." If you go somewhere that is questionable (such as a bad part of town), bring the beater.

just take your kit off in the winter. it wouldnt take more than an hour to swap everything.
