so thas what that thing's for...i think i've seen some in the US...or maybe it was taiwan...but yeah...if i were in taiwan i think it'd be a necessity...it's hard nuff to not buss up ur car when ppl are driving on the wrong side of the road...who wants to worry about parking too.....

We have them on the company proton perdana v6 in malaysia and they help. It shows you exactly where the end and corner of your car is, so when you park you can really get in there. That coupled with back up sensors help you squeeze in the tightest places. EVERY car in malaysia has backup sensors, from jags to proton wira. But alas, even with those aids, I've still scraped a bumper or two over there. People bitch about tight parking over here, OMFG it's impossible to park over there. Now corner markers on cars in the US....BLECK.
