just got h&r sports springs, and i am thinking about getting koni yellows.
where can i find best price online or any shops have good deal around NE?

Also would they(Koni Yellows/H&R springs) perform any better compare to stock shocks w/H&R springs?

are your two best bets for the Neuspeed Koni Yellows, and the Regular Koni Yellows.

I personally want to get the Neuspeed-Koni/H&R Sport combo soon, and I don't see why don't won't perform much better than the stock shocks/stock springs...

I have heard nothing but good things about koni yellows (I don't have any myself) but I don't think you can go wrong w/ that setup you listed. Good luck with it :thumbup:

He had the stock shocks for 2 years, then recently switched to Neuspeed-Koni Yellows.

IMO, I personally want to get the new shocks+springs at the same time, so if I ever have to return the car back to stock in the future, the stock shocks will be as good as new (instead of being all worn out after being used with lowering springs). Also, if you are planning on using the lowering springs with your stock shocks for a long time, you will most likely have to replace the stock shocks with aftermarkets, so you would have to do the install all over again.

and i am considering to buy either new koni yellows or new stock shocks from dealer, which would save me some money for something else.
i've been searching, and i couldn't decide yet.

 

well, you do know that stock shocks aren't supposed to last with lowering springs, do you?

 

Yep, I had the H&R sports with stock shocks for two years, this spring switched to the Neuspeed edition (SP3) Koni Yellows.

They are awesome shocks. They have the perches so you can fine tune your drop, plus are dampening adjustable.

To compare with stock shocks: On full soft, they are a bit more firm than the stock shocks, but the dampening is great, improved over stock shocks.

In fact I don't think my wife would have even noticed the difference if I hadn't asked her if she could feel a difference in firmness in a straight line. Now performance wise, you'll feel a difference, they are great.

Koni's are a much better choice than going with more stock shocks, they'll last longer and perform better.

 

yep, they have a lifetime warranty, so they work with lowering springs just the same as they would with the stock springs...

 

what about the same setup, H&R sport springs with KYB AGX shocks, instead of koni yellows?

i've got H&R sport springs on stock shocks right now - the shocks are dead. i desperately want to get new shocks, but the price of koni yellows is really steep. AGX's are a lot cheaper. right now i'm deciding between AGX and koni reds... i'm not sure that i'd use the external adjustability all that much
