Well I haven't used the brights on the streets yet, but when I aimed them on the wall, they still aim above the cutoff line so I guess it will be even brighter. I also got fogs to increase light output as well. Basically at night, I see ALL. lol. With high beam, I probably see the world. lol. I don't blind anyone with the projectors either. I have them aimed down far enough and aimed high enough to not cause any blinding.

I should be able to do it for 5th gens as well. I took apart my friends 5th gen headlights to black them out for him. Only thing I strongly suggest you do is buy an extra set of headlights. I'll have to black them out for you to reduce the glare. I'll leave the high beam alone so you still have access to that. Let me know if you want me to. Thanks.

Looks sweet but isn't sitting a bit too far back?

I have mine sitting up that it barely touches the front lense.

Actually the only problem I had with it sitting back too far is the space in the back. I only had to get rid of the container for my windshield washer fluid, but I hardly use it anyways so it was no biggie for me. I'm thinking about remounting it lower and If I did, then everything would all fit in. I like it way in the back anyways because it looks more "OEM" like rather than a huge modification. Not only that, but I am still able to use my stock adjustment screw to aim my headlights up or down anyway I feel fit. It is also better because I didn't have to cut out a huge hole in the back either and having to go through all that trouble and making my own adjustment screws that may end up breaking apart later in the future anyways. I have already thought this whole thing out before I started working on it.

I'm not saying it looks bad or anything but when the light comes out of the projector doesn't it it the bottom of the housing?
