Hey 6th GEN'rs: Is it worth getting a non-V6?
#21
I've driven both ALOT.
I own a 2000 EX 5-speed 4cyl coupe, since new.
My sister owns a 2002 V6 EX sedan, since new.
The V6 is smoother and more quite, but for shifting in the corners the 4 is definately more fun.
If shifting the gears doesn't do it for you then get the 6 auto, but the 4 can be alot more fun. Plus the 4 gets alot better gas milage.
When my sister was shopping I told her if you are getting the auto you must go 6 else, I prefer the Stick. Hey I drove them both when shopping and I chose the 4 with sitck. Perhaps you should test drive for yourself.

Depends, if you're into stop light racing an I4 with a stick can be fun. If you're into quiet smooth power then the v6 is for you. On the highway you can't compare the two, from a roll I CRUSH I4s, well even from a standing start I give most of them a pretty good whoopin but I'm not quite stock. I will agree that if you like to play on the twisties a stick would be more fun, but if you ride the twisties every single freaking day like I do, the nice midgear torque of the 6 is pretty nice to come out of apex without much effort.
