only me and one other persone works on my car.
yeah, as long it's set to the right torque it's all good. I jsut don't trust anyone else to tighten the lugs with an impact wrecnh, so I make 'em break out the torque wrench!

:werd: hopefully all suspension work, brake work, and oil changes will be done by me. Alignments and other work I can't do in my garage will either be done at this kickass Honda dealer back home, or at the performance shop that charges more to mount+balance 18" tires mainly because they don't thrown your expensive rims around like they do at NTB or at Discount Tire Co.

So I got my winter tires put on yesterday...

If the air wrench has a pressure regulator on it, can this be ok when tightening the bolts to 80 lbs/ft2?

I told the guy the pressure should be at 80, but he said that it might be too loose. He normally sets it at 100. If the bolts were tightened to 100, might this cause faster damage to the rotors?

The pressure was adjusted to 80 anyway, but now i'm left with this paranoid feeling... I don't exactly want a wheel flying off when I'm on the highway... Can anyone help?

Thanks!

You're confused with PSI (Pounds per square inch) is the amount of pressure the impact gun is recieving not the amount of torque (foot pound) the lugnuts are having applied to it.
