4th gen electrical issue
Now that winter is just about here, the cold weather is messing with my electrical system. Whenever it is cold out, my blinkers will not work for a while. Usually I turn them on pretty early, and they "warm up" and start working before I get to the turn. However, today they took forever to "warm up" and I had no blinkers for about 15-20 minutes .
They did this towards the end of last winter too, and I didn't have the time to get it looked at. I tried changing the fuse for the directionals, but that didn't help at all. Other than this, my car is running just fine. I had the battery replaced last winter, and I'm having no other electrical or starting problems at all.
Any help/suggestions are welcome. Thanks in advance.

You can get the part at your local auto parts store. This is a less than 60 second project and cheap so you won't have very much time and money invested in it if you need more troubleshooting. The relay is in the Interior fuse box (behind left kick panel) . You will see a relay that is Turn signal/Hazard. Pull it straight out just like a fuse. Take it with you to the parts store in case they don't have that listed in their books or computer. You can match it up to what is there.
The have factory replacement relays for like 2 to 5 bucks or you can buy an electronic relay for like 6 to 10 bucks.

well the local auto parts stores dont carry it or a replacement for it.
Dealership wants $35 for a new one
I was going to buy one from a guy selling 2 on ebay for $1, til I saw S&H costs another $12.50!
This isn't going to be as simple as I planned
-edit: I wouldn't mind paying for the ones on ebay, or even the $35 for it at the dealership, if I knew that it was definatly going to fix the problem.
