Default will this kill acceleration?

ok first of all, what do u guys think of this price:

http://www.groupbuycenter.com/buy.asp?row_id=6207

now, supposing i buy that package, the wheels weigh around 21 lbs, so would this affect my acceleration at all or would i loose any power because of bigger, heavier wheels? please help me out, thanks.

and on a second note the bigger tire does something to the rolling diameter (unless it is the same) that effects gearing in a bad way i think....

absolutely, bigger tires are not only heavier, (rubber is heavy), but that rolling diameter now trades off from torque to a better ride quality

yea but does it make a huge difference? i mean, i see everybody else on here and other places with 17's and their civics all seem fine. how much acceleration, torque, etc. would i be losing? anyone with 16-17's on a civic plz lemme know if u felt u lost anything by puttin bigger wheels on, thanks.

if you ONLY lose 2 tenths in the 1/4 do you have any idea how hard that is to make up in a civic....it is a big differance..if you wanna go fast get small light wheels it is VERY logical... if you don't care about fast and or ride quality get 18's:thumbup:
