Default bye bye white wheels

i started painting my wheels today, wrote everything down and im snappin pics tomorrow, i might write up a DIY, its sooo cool i dismounted tires and sandblasted 2 so far, also sprayed the primer, they look fuggin nice, (the sandblasting got rid of imperfections)

oh yeah i have 16 in motegi mr7's that are white and i hate them so im painting them black! :thumbup:

why not powder-coat them?

why not powder-coat them?
Cheaper
When mine get old, instead of buying new ones im just going to paint the gunmetal middle black:naughty:

a few of my friends have done the same thing with their wheels with that cheapo engine paint, so this whole process is gonna end up casting me about 20 bucks, plus ill probably appreciate them alot more knowing that i did the work on them and i made them look as nice as they hopefully turn out

Great to hear, I was never a fan of white wheels (sorry guys with White Wheels)

But what's with this latest trend of SPRAY painting your wheels...

It's not a good idea...

It's not a good idea...
I agree on the spray painting not being such a good idea part....hence the keyword to your statement

i dunno, if it works, it works and i saved some money if it dosent work, oh well ill sandblast the black off and then ill powdercoat them
